THE STORY

Despina and the Dove is the amazing story in which a dove and a little girl named Despina travel through time on a magic olive tree in order to thwart a plot devised by Evil Shadows to destroy the Olympic Games. Its aim is to familiarise youth with the Olympic Games and their history, introduce them to the Olympic Movement and inspire them to get involved in sports and the forthcoming 2004 Games!
The Book is the official children's book of the Olympic Games Education Programme and has been translated in numerous Languages.
