THE STORY

A young mysterious girl who travels on a magic cloud, invites a little swallow to travel with her throughout Europe. They pick a flower from each country, in order to make a nest in Belgium. With every flower picked, we learn a little about the country it came from. Adapted by Aria Sandis, from the official book wriiten on the occasion of the latest EU enlargement and published to mark the 2003 Greek Presidency of the European Union.

PERFORMANCES

The first peroformances of A Swallow Over Europe took place 8-10 June  2004
at the Open Air Theatre (Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation) in Nicosia, Cyprus, as part of the Arts Dialogues: Europe/Olympic Games-Athens 2004 Festival , with the Participation of Eugene Trivizas.
